    For those interested in family history as well as local history the Salford Local History Library at Peel Park, Crescent, Salford is the source of much material dealing with these subjects. The same building is home to the Salford Museum and Art Gallery and Lifetimes, which have displays and hold events relating to the local history of Salford.
